40th Dance Recital Information

Don't forget to invite family & friends to our 2024 Dance Recital!

TICKETS

Tickets are $20 each.  Everyone needs a ticket except dancers & children 2 & under. Tickets will go on sale at dress rehearsal. Any remaining tickets will be sold in-studio during the last week of classes at $25/ticket. Any tickets leftover after that will be sold at the door the night of recital at $25/ticket. All credit cards, cash, check & Venmo are accepted.

Music, dancing & costumes appropriate for all audiences. We are estimating the recital will be about 2.5 hours which includes a 15 minute intermission and the finale at the end.

 TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. Thank you!

 Audience Etiquette

Audience must stay seated in their seats during each Act. Each Act is approximately 1 hour. Intermission is when families may get up and leave if they do not wish to stay for the entire recital. Entire families exiting in between dances is not only disruptive to other audience members but it DELAYS THE RECTIAL and we are on a tight schedule.

PLEASE respect our ushers if they tell you a door cannot open.

PLEASE acknowledge and know which doors you can and cannot use. Only the doors in the back of the auditorium may be used for entrance & exit for the audience & all wrist banded adult female parent/guardian. Please relay this information to families and friends you invite to your child’s recital. THANK YOU!

RECITAL TIGHTS, SHOES & MORE!

Purchase your recital tights & dance shoes from our online dance wear shop as instructed when your child tried on their costume in class. Please also refer to the recital guidelines that were handed out in class.

Recital Hair

For students in ONLY a ballet class, hair must be in a bun.

For students in ONLY non-ballet class(es), hair must be in a French Braid Tucked Under.

For students in BOTH ballet & non-ballet class(es), hair must be in a French Braid with a bun.

For ballet/tap students ages 3-6 hair is what was discussed when they tried on their costume in class.

PLEASE REMEMBER AS STATED ON RECITAL GUIDELINES…

Photography from the audience is allowed at dress rehearsal but is NOT allowed on Recital night.  PLEASE, NO PHOTOGRAPHY of any type in any of the dressing rooms. THANK YOU! 

We ask that there be no photography during recital. It is VERY DISTRACTING to dancers on stage when they see multiple cameras in the audience. The recital will be professionally videotaped and families are welcome to purchase a copy of the DVD.  We will also have a professional photographer for in-studio recital pictures during the month of May with Danielle Marie Photography. There is enough to make these little dancers nervous that they do not need another element to distract them and bring them butterflies. Please remind your child to keep their eyes on their teacher who is directing them in the front of the stage.  The last thing you want to do is call your child’s name bringing attention to you and then they miss most of their steps because they took their eyes off their teacher. It is our job to make sure your child feels safe & confident to SHINE ON STAGE and do what they love to do, DANCE!  They have worked hard for this moment! THANK YOU!
